Description

Ride the Bus is a classic card game based on the rules of 31, where players aim to get as close as possible to 31 points using cards of the same suit or achieve 30 points with three of a kind. The game combines strategy, risk assessment, and luck as players decide when to stop the bus (end the round) to secure their win. With its simple rules and engaging gameplay, Ride the Bus is a fun and competitive card game for players of all ages. Gameplay Overview Objective: Get as close as possible to 31 points using cards of the same suit. Alternatively, achieve 30 points with three of a kind. Decide when to stop the bus (end the round) to secure your win. Card Values: Aces are worth 11 points. Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10 points. Number cards are worth their face value. Gameplay: Players are dealt three cards and take turns drawing new cards from the deck or discard pile. The goal is to improve your hand by getting closer to 31 points in one suit or achieving three of a kind. Players can choose to stop the bus if they believe their hand is strong enough to win the round. Winning: At the end of the round, the player with the highest score (closest to 31 in one suit or 30 with three of a kind) wins. If a player reaches exactly 31, they automatically win the round.
