Description

Meteor Mission is a remake of the classic Lunar Lander type game, and/or the game of the same name for the TRS-80. Your goal is to safely land your lander on one of the three platforms, and then safely travel back up to the launcher. You'll need to avoid the meteors and land softly on the platform to avoid crashing. The controls are simple and responsive, and the countdown timer keeps the action going as you race to get as many points as possible.Lunar Lander is a classic arcade-style space game that was first released in 1979 by Atari. It is one of the early examples of a physics-based video game, where players control the descent of a spacecraft to land on the surface of the Moon. The game has since been ported to various platforms, including DOS, and remains an iconic part of gaming history.
